Why Choose Dental Implants?

Learn how millions of Americans are replacing their teeth for life!

Patients no longer have to deal with low-quality temporary solutions like dentures, bridges, or partials. Dental implants are the new leading standard in tooth replacement options. They act and feel just like real teeth with an average lifespan of 20+ years. Most traditional replacement solutions - like bridges or dentures - need to be replaced every 7 to 10 years resulting in hundreds of wasted dollars. Implants offer a long term solution for patients who want the best quality of life possible.
So, how do they work?

Every single dental implant consists of three parts - the implant, the abutment, & the crown. The implant is made of medical grade titanium. This part is surgically placed into the patient’s jaw bone and left to heal for 4-6 months afterwards. This implant piece acts as the foundation for the rest of the tooth. Once the bone around the site has healed, the abutment and crown are placed on top of the implant. The end result is a beautiful, natural-looking new tooth!
Few people will ever be able to tell the difference between your implants and your real teeth.

FAQs

Who is a good candidate for dental implants?

Almost anyone who is missing a single tooth, multiple teeth, or all teeth are candidates for dental implants. Adequate bone density is needed to support the implant, and the ideal candidate has healthy gums that are free of periodontal disease.

Does the implant procedure hurt?

No! With the miracle of modern medicine, we can put you under during the operation to ensure that pain is not felt. The idea of getting implants is scary to many individuals because of this concern of pain. Any pain you would feel after the operation can be significantly reduced, if not fully mitigated with a doctor's prescription of pain killers.

Why can't I just get dentures instead?

As the patient, you will always have the final say on what dental procedure you want done. However, we do have to tell you all of the pros and cons of each treatment type. While regular dentures may be more inexpensive upfront, they are a terrible tooth replacement option long term. The majority of regular denture patients turn out to hate their new teeth months later because they cause pain & discomfort. Additionally, regular dentures do not preserve the jawbone like implants do.

What makes dental implants so great?

Dental implants are the best way of replacing teeth because they utilize titanium. Titanium implants cannot decay and they fuse with the patient's bone. Once an implant is placed, the patient's bone "takes" the placement biologically, and it becomes a lifelong lasting root for a crown, bridge, or full arch. Another benefit of implants is that they preserve the jawbone & prevent it from dwindling away.

Do you offer financing?

Yes! We offer financial plans through Lending Point, Greensky and Care Credit. When you come in for your free consultation, we’ll see if you qualify for financing and payment plans. We’ll also check your insurance plan to see if it provides coverage for a portion of the procedure. We’ll guide you through the entire process, making it as easy as possible to pay for your implants.

5 Benefits of Dental Implants

If you’re looking to get dental implants, there are many unique benefits to consider.
Here are a few:

Implants prevent bone loss.

Bone mass loss tends to occur when you lose teeth. With a dental implant, the titanium rod performs the function of a tooth root, stimulating your jawbone to maintains its mass, preventing bone loss and protecting your face shape.

Implants look natural.

Dental implants are designed to look and feel just like your natural teeth. No one but you and your dentist will know which teeth are implants, and which ones are real.

Implants will increase your self-confidence.

Missing teeth can make you feel self-conscious about smiling. Dental implants look and feel so natural, they’ll allow you to speak and smile with confidence.

Implants prevent changes in the shape of your face.

Your teeth help support your facial structure. When you lose teeth, you lose that support, which eventually causes your face to change shape, making you appear older. Dental implants provide similar support for your face as your natural teeth, preventing it from changing shape. Implants effectively retain your facial structure, preventing facial collapse and a sunken appearance.

Implants make it easier to speak.

Some tooth replacement options, like dentures, can impact your ability to pronounce words correctly. Missing teeth can also alter your speech. Because dental implants feel and function just like natural teeth, and don’t “slip” like dentures, they enable you to speak easily and naturally.
If you’re in need of a tooth replacement option, you should definitely consider dental implants.
